FAQs

01. Do I need to bring cables and adaptors?

We have a stock of various-length HDMI, VGA and 3.5mm audio cables in each room, with plenty more spare. We also have Euro adaptors and multi chargers for mobile phones. If you are not sure whether we have the correct cable for your device, call or email us for confirmation.

02. Does my room being ‘self-sufficient’ mean that there is nobody around to help?

Not at all. We have team members on site all day. Can’t find one? The speed dials on your room phone lead to our Meeting & Events Maestro, Coordinator and reception team members.

03. You’re on the lower ground floor. Is there any natural light?

We’re lucky. The building is on the corner of a wide street with very little to block the sun, so all rooms benefit from natural daylight.

04. How many tea and coffee servings can we have?

That’s up to you: Illy espresso coffee machines, filter coffee urns and selection of Brew teas are included with every room. Help yourself.

05. What if one of our group has a dietary requirement?

Not a problem. We can cater for any dietary needs as long as we have 48 hours’ notice. Any questions, just get in touch.

06. Can we bring our own food?

Unfortunately not. We offer a breakfast bakery, lunch boxes packed with a variety of sandwiches, salads and sweets on site and a 2 course set lunch in our modern brasserie, Karpo, just around the corner. If you do choose to bring food to site then we will charge you for our equivalent package.

07. Is there a charge for an increase in numbers on the day?

No, but we cannot guarantee extra seats, food or drink.

08. What if I need to deliver training materials the day before the meeting?

Not a problem. Let us know how many parcels you will be sending and we can store on site for your meeting – in most cases.

09. Do you provide photocopying or printing services?

We do and black and white copies are free of charge. We do charge for colour copies.

10. Is there disabled access?

To the building yes, to the meeting rooms no. Apologies, but this is not something that we can amend.

11. Are there parking facilities?

We do not have parking facilities on site. There is a limited amount of road parking available in our local area, primarily found around Argyle Square and Argyle Street. We have a handy guide to King’s Cross parking, which you can access via this link

12. When can I contact the team on site?

The Meeting & Events team are here 8am – 6pm between Monday – Friday, unless we have a late booking. The reception team are available 24 hours a day.
